Whether you have not touched painting materials since you were a toddler or you are a practicing artist, you are welcome to join our community!
Here we practice exploring what visual language and visual expression can do on a personal level. And exactly because of that we encourage people from different disciplines and backgrounds, age groups and genders with or without knowledge of art to mingle within the same program.
No one's work is compared to anyone else's. Each person will be facilitated to learn, improve and expand based on their unique and singular capacities and desire.

I’m Golnar,
I am a visual artist, culture manager, art-researcher and art educator.
I am the founder of Art-Expression Workshops & Mirror of Creation Projects.
I am also a travel enthusiast, storyteller, book-worm and cat mom.
Art-Expressien came to life, one day back in 2009 when I decided to open my atelier for a group of my friends to use art for connectivity, expression and healing.
This intuitive notion eventually lead to such a beautiful collective experience that I decided to invest more time and research into it and create a similar program for everyone.
Fifteen years later, orientet around the notion of free expression, plurality, community and knowledgable facilitation, Art-Expression has expanded and grown into what it is today.
From Berlin to Istanbul, from Tehran to Amsterdam; I have met and worked with so many wonderful people and creative minds. I have opened this creative space for people younger than five years old and older than eighty. The poeple that have joined this family have brought it colors from all cultures, diciplines, backgrounds, lifestyles and professions.
I have thrived in learning and sharing alongside each and every being that joined me on this inspiring, insightful and creative journey!
I hope that one day we, too, can meet and share our stories and express and exchange in the realm of art and creation.
